This simple concrete arch bridge crosses Fishpot Creek in a park in Valley Park. It was built in 1929 when Missouri Pacific upgraded this line.
The bridge is simply constructed. It contains a single arch, with a closed-spandrel concrete design. It was poured in place over falsework.
The bridge is in great condition for the load it carries. The line above is one of the busiest rail lines in Missouri.
The author has ranked this bridge as being minimally significant, due to the common nature of this design. The photo above is an overview.
